Harris F. Underwood III, Inc. was founded in 1978 as an Independent Insurance Agency, representing many of the nation's top carriers. 
We offer all lines of coverage for both Commercial and Personal Risks.


The original business model in 1978 was simple:  Provide the best product for the best price and offer great customer service. 
After more than 30 years in business, this is still our goal.  

The mythical Pegasus has long been an iconic symbol of Dallas.  In 2001, as part of the Pegasus Project,
Harris F. Underwood III, Inc. sponsored a sculpture decorated by local artist Sonia King,
to promote Dallas tourism and support the local arts.

Ms. King adorned our Pegasus with over 19,300 glass marbles and several hundred mirrors, and christened her work "Flying Colors".  
The result was a stunning reflection of light and color, and is on display in our lobby.
